Multidimensional Realities
I am the author of a book called "Multidimensional Man". (I am not here to plug my book btw because I earn my living as a commercial illustrator and also most of the information are freely available on my website anyway: http://www.multidimensionalman.com)
The reason I feel I would like to post here is because I have been asked and also because I am continuously presented with the question of how to distinguish between Lucid Dreams and Out-of-Body experience. I believe these two belong to the same field of consciousness and have powerful overlaps which make it almost impossible to separate. I frequently use Lucid Dreams as a launch pad for OBEs and have done so for the last forty years. I was recently invited by the "Institute of Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies (INACS)" to give a talk, which was recorded on Skype, and which you can watch here: Multidimensional Realities on Vimeo which largely deals with consciousness and multidimensional realities.
I simply feel, like many others, that we are on the threshold of a new era where our understanding of reality moves away from the particle world, where everything is regarded as "solid" to a new understanding of the world seen as "information" held in a unified field we call consciousness. It may take us a while, but with new scientific discoveries it will soon become impossible to explain our world using the old paradigms.
I hope my video and my website will widen the general "Dream" discussion too, because without even being aware of it, we are already moving though multidimensional space every night and perhaps it is time now to wake up and register our dream world within new reference system.
I would like to say that I am not a scientist, I am an artist and I am open to criticism. I don't make any great claims. I simply see myself as a reporter of experiences in consciousness, which may simply be seen from a psychological viewpoint or, as I prefer, as field reports from the wider territories of awareness. I am not attached to my observations.
I started off a similar discussion on another forum Here which triggered quite a good discussion, if you are interested.
