That can be one of the hardest things about getting good recall is remembering to remember. Try clearing your head before you go to sleep by thinking about all the things you keep thinking of when you wake up. That way you sort of get those out of the way and wont be as likely to be distracted in the morning. Try and not move when you wake and think about what you dreamt. Don't try and re-remember it exactly. Hopefully it should still be fresh in your mind so don't stress your brain to much or you might loose it. Try and access it like you would if you were awake and thinking about what you were doing 15 minutes ago. Other that optimism and patience with get you recalling dreams in no time! |

Hmm well what I did was get into the habit of writing my dreams every morning. The first thing I think about every morning is what I dreamed because I need something to write about. My first journal was mostly broken up imagery and dream fragments, but as I go through it I can see how I progressed until I was filling several pages worth of dreams just about every other day. I believe it's a good idea but it might not work for everyone. :/ |

Have you considered a mantra? |
