It is rarely the same reaction twice. Sometimes they will argue with me, trying to convince me I am not dreaming. Other times, they will join me in the lucid dream as a companion. Some characters just seem empty, like they have no personality at all. They won't even engage with me. |
|
In my experience, most of them just carry on with whatever they were doing. Recently, I had a LD where I jumped off the twin towers and smashed into the ground, making a big crater. There was a crowd of people where I crashed and when I jumped I could hear them look up in amazement/astonishement. Then, once I landed, they all got quiet and gathered around the crater. One they saw that I was alright, they cheered! |

Okay thanks you two |

The reactions depend on the world I am at, sometimes its completely normal for them, sometimes they might try to fight me or question me, sometimes they don't get enough time to react, it all depends on the place. |

They once kicked a ball at me when I was flying |

Ahh, some people say that they are people you've unconsciously seen before...But really, whatever your sub conscious wants to make |

Yeah I don't know where they pull their info from for how they can prove that DC faces have all been seen by you in real life. I'm certain your subconscious can take someone's nose, another person's eyes, or variations in between. I don't believe they "have to be seen" beforehand. |

When I become lucid in my school or house and try to leave the area, sometimes I run into trouble with "authority figures" like teachers or my parents. I just tell them that it's my dream and I could erase them indefinitely if they try to stop me. Either that or I just ignore them. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I flew in one of my lucid dreams(not much awareness) but still a lucid dream nonetheless. Anyways when i flew my DC's started cheering me on, it was a pretty amazing feeling. |
|
Yeah, it depends on the Lucid dream. They can be loving, friendly, angry, etc... Just depends. Usually they're not overly concerned with me. lol... |

DC'S are nothing but unpredictable. Sometimes they are zombies, sometimes they are equals, sometimes they are wiser than you could imagine. Most of the time though, DC's will just ignore supernatural acts by you... as if it was normal. BUT, other times they might act as if it was real life. For example: one time I was LD'ing and just as I became lucid, I started to move things with my mind. I did this right in front of a DC, and the first thing he did was say, "Am I dreaming?" Mind bending, right? |

Spoiler for Lucid Goals:
I am always amazed by how autonomous my dream characters are. I can rarely control their actions. You would assume, since it is your own dream, that their actions and words would be predictable. Not so. They are constantly surprising me. Sometimes it seems like they have more knowledge and insight me. Other times, they are complete idiots, or even mindless shells. It is very hard for me to change them once their personality is set. |
|
I had a non-lucid once when I was running from a giant robot, and a DC was walking the way I was running from. I shouted, "Get out of here man! There's a giant robot coming!", to which he responded. "And your point is?" XD |

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
