I was just curious what movies inspired other people to LD. |

Wana... Are you a Christian LD'er? Wondered if any out there beside myself. My peers would probably question my sanity! (well not probably. I gave up telling friends)! |
Hm... one that motivated me was Silent Hill! |
I agree about Inception and Avatar. I especially like Avatar especially the scenes with the huge tree and all the colors. |
Oh, there are so many! I agree with all of yours. I also would like to add: |
MATRIX!! |
Inception & Prison Break, i had 2 non lucid dreams about PB ftw |
"Dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of our lives."
My dream journal
Inception, Kick-Ass, Spider-Man, Hulk and some uhm, "cORN" vids out there |
Avatar is why i am here today. It rocked my world to the core. |

Inception was 'ok' to me when I first saw it. But I didn't know about lucid dreaming then. When I actually did it and said 'Oh my God! This stuff is REAL! It immediately became my most absolute favorite movie. I've watched it 5 or so times and always see more in it. Matrix is great too as real LDs are like the 'construct' in the Matrix. |
I am inspired by any mind-bending, reality-challenging sci-fi movie. A few that come to mind are: |
You should all definitely watch/read What Dreams May Come if you haven't. That would be top of my list. |
Oh yeah, Paprika was great too! (I noticed someone else mentioned that one.) |
The mummy, the adjustment bureau and Inception ofcourse |
MirrorMask, City of Lost Children, The Imaginarium of Dr Pernassus...just a few amazing dream themed movies! |
Movies with a lot of fighting and epic special effects usually make me want to LD. |
I highly recommend Waking life. It was the film that introduced me to Lucid Dreaming, and watching just a few minutes of it generally inspires me to read through my JD or practise awareness. It can be quite a mission to watch it from start to finish though, since some of the topics even elude me |
*Just found enough movies to watch for the next months* |
I would have to say Avatar because of the landscape of it. |
Marine ReconSwift, Silent, DeadlyDILD-14 WILD -5 FA-6
Some episodes of the series House motivate me. As well as Inception. |
My Avatar speaks for itself hehe. I sooo badly want to live in Pandora... |
