Whenever I am lucid, my first thought are always sexual. I always try to find a private place to masturbate, or as of recent, I had lesbian sex. This was all right after I became lucid. I eventually loose the lucidity pretty quickly after. I don't like it. I want to explore different aspects of the dream world. Maybe I am not entirely lucid? I do consciously make the decisions to do those things... any thoughts?
A tip that may help you out is to try to think about thoughts of what you want to do in your Lucid Dream before you fall asleep, and even during the day. Having the same thing on your mind throughout the whole day and as you are falling asleep may lead you to dream about it.

Dreamreality's tip was really good, that's what I do. Just think of much fun, and how much better it is than fake sex, you can always masturbate in real life :)
since you are in a dream, you can have all kinds of sexual activitis while you do all kinds of other things, i, for example, would prefer laing on leafs, watching an alien psychofunk band playing in the rythms of the univers while making love with all the aliens, which play in the band. just an sugestion :)
I had the same problem while getting LDs. Sexuality unbelievably sensual in dreams. Perhaps you should focus on prolonging the dream. Use methods like spinning or hand rubbing. Then maybe you could do sexual stuff, and after that, focus on other things.
What the point of finding a private place to masturbate? Nobody there is real. And you can live out ANY fantasy with anybody :)

I would not consider flying and exploring animalistic drives; the desire to fly is deeply rooted into human nature. I cannot say the same for sex though. :D
But is lucid sex worth sacrificing an opportunity for other lucid adventures? Does it feel like the real thing?
PS: Lesbian sex as a guy, that must have been a pretty hum... mind opening experience. ;-)

Why not just have lucid sex when you are getting bored of everything else? Like you become lucid, fly around, punch a bad guy, drive a car off a cliff... then when you are running out of ideas or don't mind if the dream ended, then initiate sex with whoever/whatever/wherever you want. If it ends, you don't mind. If it doesn't, yay boner.
That happens in occasional lucid dreamers because lucidity is hard to attain, and when it happens, it is not the high lucidity that you are thinking of. With consistent LDs, it is reasonable to repeat affirmations and set goals for each night. Without that, the lucid dream comes, and the mind simply cannot think of anything better than flying, sex, or fighting because some parts of the mind are inactive. It is also possible that flying, sex or fighting are themselves manifestation of different hormone levels in the brain. I've had very low LDs, where I fly, glide, levitate or do telekinesis at will. Moving through objects is also very common. It's also possible that the inhibitory part of the brain is itself inhibited, so the tiniest impulse is enough to shape the direction of the action, even in a lucid dream.Quote:

Like when you are watching tv, after maybe 10 minutes or so, you only see the tv, or what's on it. In the same way that you are not able to concentrate on the tv AND the wall in equal amounts, you can't fully relax and let the brain "turn off" and have a lucid dream, even though when you have a lucid dream, the brain is still resting. I'm not saying the brain is still active and working in a lucid dream, I'm saying it is a different kind of active. Not an "active" that the brain can be tricked into doing- it needs to be learned and practiced.

I had the same problem when I first started explored LD's. I would either fly, have sex, or have flying sex. The best way to overcome this is to set specific goals for yourself in the dream world.

I had a couple of LD's and I was always having sex or punching people in the face.. I don't understand because I have a healthy sexual relationship and I never punched somebody in the face in real life.

Just chill out and focus, OP.
As soon as you become lucid, make a serious habit of rubbing your hands together, and checking out your environment. Restate to yourself, "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming," and just be slow and chill.
After a little bit of that kind of thing, activating all your senses as best as you can, and what not, your lucidity should be at a much higher level.
Then you'll be able to say, "Hey, I always make myself have sex with everything, let's go explore instead!"
Surprisingly, I actually never have had this problem before. I imagine that it's the way that you can over-come it, however. I guess the same kind of thing happens with me and flying. Every time I become lucid I run out into my yard or something and just stand there and become completely obsessed with the idea of flying. I guess I'm a little whimsical like that.
