      Reality Check Question

      I know this is a rather noobish question but...

      Are reality checks performed in waking life necesarry to having lucid dreams? Or is it just another form of induction?

      It's just another form of induction. There are many, many ways of starting a lucid dream, and realizing in the middle, due to some inconsistency, is but one. In my experience, though, it has been the most useful method, since most of my lucid dreams result from reality checks.
      Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.
