MY RC ADVICE: Don't be too eager to go leaping off buildings.
Start from the ground and go up from there.
Yeh ive gone into Lucids/OBE before and it was always after over coming this "fear" feeling. |

I am sorry to hear about that. How is your sleep pattern? Do you get 8 hours of sleep or do you stay up late most of the time? Your diet might also be a source for your bad dreams. How often does this happen? Is it just a recent thing? What about in the past? |

My sleeping pattern is fine. I get 8 hours of sleep every time I go to sleep. This particular thing has only happened twice but I have nightmares pretty often, maybe about every 3 days or so. I actually hadn't had any nightmares in years a while ago, then I started lucid dreaming and the nightmares started happening. |

There is all sorts of material in different books and systems about dealing with nightmares and fear. As an example the tibetan Yogis suggest to imagine being surrounded by enlightened protective beings radiating love and compassion. There's also many things you can do to protect your space - I always used to visualise myself sealing the walls of my room with golden light so that nothing could get to me. I'd try and find some literature on this and find something that feels right and works for you to help you feel safe. |
