I ment deep sleeping but imma just put a pic of johnny depp just for entertainment:)http://www.zuseloop.com/sexy%20galle...ohnny_depp.jpg
I find my lucid occurrences really drop in frequency when I'm tired or have a poor sleeping schedule. If I'm more awake and rested, it's easier to become lucid (DILD-wise, but if I'm a bit tired it's easier to reach SP for a WILD).
Oh, and from now on, please be sure to use the "edit post" feature instead of double-posting! :content:
Used to be a really deep sleeper. Could sleep through pretty much anything.
I found the more I LDed the lighter my sleep was. I have no clue if light sleep is a byproduct of LDing, or it helps facilitate it, but I'm inclined to think it's the former. . . or maybe a mixture of the two.
Definitely an interesting topic, methinks.
Lucid dreams normally occur in light sleep rather than deeper sleep. When you're closer to being awake, it's easier to become conscious in your dream. That's why a lot of people have short LDs in their first DILDs--they're getting lucid near the end of the dream because they're close to waking already.
Personally I'm a very light sleeper, and I think that's part of why it's so much easier for me to get lucid. The last year or two I've been getting deeper and more refreshing sleep, but I've had a harder time LDing because of it and I've had to adapt. :P
btw I fixed your thread title for you. :)
Wow. Just noticed you were sporting the green stars again.
Cool beans.
I don't exactly know which one I am, but I think I'm a deep sleeper.
How can you become a light sleeper?
Just like to note that I approve the double posting on account of Johnny Depp. Mkay. Continue...
