ever mistook RL for a dream?

This is kind of a joke fear of mine All the time in dreams we question reality and then do a RC to make sure we are indeed dreaming. In these situations, a RC really should be pretty redundant but often still feels necessary.

Only once when awake was I truly unsure (for maybe 20 seconds) but it was in the middle of the night and I was in someone else's house so I guess that's not surprising. Every now and then I get a feeling like I could almost believe I was dreaming and I have even felt like I shouldn't let myself slip into that idea incase I misbehave But that's it. It seems like a topic for potentially good stories. Anyone?

Hm... never really happened. I mean, sometimes when I am sick or really tired where my head has that foggy feeling, I can wonder if I am dreaming. Especially since memories don't stick all that well in those cases, I usually will do a reality check. Though honestly never actually thought that real life was a dream, even for a split second.

For the most part it only works one way. Dreams can be mistaken for reality but reality is hard to mistake for a dream. One time though I was extremely confused about the layout of a shopping mall and had to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

Nope, I never have. Good thing too. Know why? Well, I have done about 5 WILDs and every one I wake up in my bed. For some reason I don't RC. Well... not in a normal way at least. Instead I jump off the top of my stairs to test if I'm dreaming or not.
What is really weird is that I would never do this to test if I was sleeping if I was awake. The mind works in weird ways. Especially when you are sleeping.
      Me, "Why are you crying?"
DC, "People won't be my friend because I'm ugly."
Me, "Well I will be your friend... I guess."
DC, "Ewww no! Your ugly too."

Everytime I get a dream sequence, which happens quite a lot. The dream setting usually takes place on where I'm situated before I sleep, which could be pretty much anywhere. It's weird how this happens regularly, and you wouldn't notice any changes from the original construction of the place, though the objects could quite change over a certain period of time, which I barely notice at all. Eventually I'd wake up, in the same setting, not realizing I'm still inside another dream sequence. It doesn't only happen once, but numerous times. Sometimes I'm dreaming inside a dream where I'm actually dreaming too. Lol

Actually, and I feel like this happens too often, but people would act weird sometimes. Like, the responses I would get from people, or what they say in general just doesn't seem consistent with what they would normally do. I don't know...it's probably all in my head

There are also those "What? Did that really just happen?" times that I'm sure everyone goes through.
If I'm dreaming, how come I can do...THIS! *grows fourth arm*

Yeah, it actually happens sometimes. When somebody starts acting weirdly, saying things that they usually don't; or when the situation is dreamlike - in the most of the cases it's either light start flickering or I hear something unusual. Also, I always do RC when I'm scared with or without visible reason, as well as when I'm having panic attack or feel despair or experience any strong bad emotions, because it often happens in dreams and it usually turns into a nightmare.
