Thread: Nightmares.. do you suffer in silence or vocalize?

My husband had a bad dream/nightmare this morning which triggered this question.

The few times he's had a nightmare, he will cry out and/or moan.

I can only think of one instance when I had a bad dream and made any type of sound (my husband woke me up).
Even when I shared a room with my sister growing up, I never made any noise when I had a nightmare.

I'm just curious.. do you cry out, moan or whimper when you have a nightmare?

There was no bed wetting option so I chose the 3rd one.

Crap.. I should have added a choice of "I don't make any noise" but I can't figure out how to edit the poll info.

OMG i usually dun' have nightmares but i often have nighterrors!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH i'm often crying uncontrollably....or a lot of the times i scream & fall off my bed! ...those times hurt like hell....

I dont remember having any serious nightmares, maybe few unpleasant dreams, after which I wake up quite excited... but silent.

I walk up in cold sweat sometimes.

My mom really makes noise during nightmares. It's extremely annoying, I hate it. I think it's better if someone does it silently...THEY don't know what's going on in the real world....doesn't make a difference!

I'm a vocalizer....Even if I'm not having a nightmare, I talk in my sleep. Once I woke myself up singing a song.
