Question Link Between Lucidity & Sleep Talking?

Is sleep talking more likely to happen in a lucid dream (over a non-lucid)?

I often avoid speaking in my LDs, because I'm not sure if I will actually say it out loud in my sleep.
I don't have a history of sleep talking, but it's always on my mind when I'm lucid... I don't like the idea of someone listening in on my dreams, haha.

I wonder the same thing about my breathing, eg. I was staying at a friend's house once when I decided to have sex in a lucid dream, and at the back of my mind I was a bit embarrassed by the idea that someone in the waking world could be listening.

Anyway, just wondering if you've noticed a difference between your lucid & non-lucid sleep talking tendencies?

I have also wondered if what you do in a lucid is acted out in your bed, I dont think it will be any different to non lucid.
Like with the nose pinch RC, do you still breath through your nose because you arnt holding your nose shut in real life.

      Sleepwalking | Psychology Today

First couple of paragraphs; ETWOLD says the same thing, IIRC.

I've shouted at people in dreams and my wife has immediately woken me up and said I made an "oooh" sound, but nothing that made sense.
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

hehe yeah i was going to scream out in one of my lucids but i didnt want to incase i woke up screaming. always a thought, what if you're halfway through an epic battle montage of slaying the living crap out of stuff and you emit a fireball through your fingertips and scream as hard as you can with epic scream to emphasize the battle you're in and suddenly you wake mid scream, do you scream as youre waking?

Generally you won't awake fast enough. I always yell and such in my lucid s because it helps with control and it is really a lot of fun. My sisters often sleep in my room because I have an a/c and they never hear anything.

Awesome, thanks for the comments guys!
Maybe I'll start yelling more often and see if anyone notices.

I actually came on here to post a thread about this, I was on holiday the other day and was in a twin room. During a particularly vivid lucid I was told after I woke that I had been talking in my sleep. Something I've never been told I've done before. Doesn't seem like anyone else has seen much of a link though. Maybe I'm just starting to talk in my sleep :/

The dreaming world is much like the quantum world; nothing is real until you look at it and as soon as you stop looking it stops being real.
