im so stupid in my dreams...

I had this rly vivid and real feeling dream. I was in a shop looking for a good and cheap caik to buy. So while some shop guy was cutting me sum caik pieces i checked my clock and it was like 11 pm. Then i thought how i got here. And i didnt think about it more.

I dont do rc's much at al. Ive like tried the how i got here rc just once...

Ive noticed that if i try wilding before sleep i get more vivid dreams and i rfmember them easily if i go thru em after waking.

How i make myself not go thru every possible rc i know of and fail them all? xD

That caike i was buying was expensive but it loked good. Also the shop peeps propably werent allowed to cut me smaller pieces of the caike because tgey hid behind some stack when an important shop guy came near. :c Never got dat caike pieces...

Your not stupid in your dreams, when we are sleeping the logic part of our brain is shut off so you dont pick up on things easily. When you become lucid the logic part turns back on.

I believe your issue is the same i used to have, you maybe just be mindlessly doing reality checks. When you do a reality check you really REALLY have to do it.

your not really questioning your reality in your dream likely because your not really questioning your reality in waking life...

Meaning actually take the time and ask yourself "Am i dreaming or am i awake?" look around for anything weird, really look for something out of place. then follow it by a reality check imagining the reality check REALLY working. only once the reality check fails (if it fails...)should you determine your not sleeping.

You will have a lucid dream. Have fun!
      DREAM GOALS:

Whenever I reality check, I like to ask myself, "How did I get here?" I think back on the recent sequence of events to make sure everything makes sense. This is not necessarily a reality check, in itself. It is just a way of training myself to be more aware of myself and my surroundings.

glad you added that! that reality check really forces you to think, so you cant mindlessly do it. I use it also just didnt think to say it

I know what you mean. If you are in that illogical, dream state of mind, you will explain anything away. No reality check will really work to convince you something is amiss. Normally, by the time I reality check in a dream, I already know I am dreaming. The reality check just reinforces and supports this instinct. The best thing to do is to practice staying aware and lucid in real life so it will come easier in the dream.
