      Dressing/undressing - stabilization technique?

Yeah, you heard right... This idea came to me as I was recalling my dreams from last night.

Essentially, stabilization involves the five senses. For me in particular, however, my sense of touch is probably the most important, and so I always go around seeing how objects feel, how heavy they are, etcetera. I also rub my hands alot to get a feel for my dream body. But, what if there was a way to get a feeling for your entire body?

I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm definitely doing it as a stabilization technique in my next LD. I'm sure it could really help.

Summon some clothes and put them on! ...Or, for the more adventurous types, strip down. This way, you'll feel your arms, legs, torso, and even clothing. You'll feel everything else besides your hands.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

This sounds silly but it is actually a good idea. Any type of stabilization will help increase length of lucid dreams. Something likes this that engages many senses seems like a great way to stabilize.

Neat idea. I wonder if it could be a reality check too. I remember now reading about an RC - a variant of the memory check - where you look at your clothes and ask yourself if you remember putting them on. Could be combined maybe?

Sense of touch is the most important for stabilization, very true. I noticed that in dreams where I'm going around naked (happens to everyone, right?! ) I can feel cold or heat on my skin - those dreams are insanely long and vivid. (they are non-lucid, btw)

Also, kissing seems to be good for that - there is a lot of...tactile action going on, like hugging and stuff
Although, excitement may kill it, so it can be counterproductive.
