Thread: Is this normal?

Last night I had a false awakening. I stupidly did not do a reality check, but quickly picked up my "notebook" and wrote down some "notes" on the dream I had just had. I quickly wrote down a bit of info before I fell fast asleep IN my false awakening, my false notebook still on my false bed. Has this ever happened to anyone before? Is it normal for it to happen?

Yes I had one exactly like yours. Frustrating, just make it a habit to do a reality check every time you wake up.

Yes. I actually laughed when I woke up because I was like: "What the hell..?????!?!?"

Yea I have done this, but I got up and looked out the window and realized I was dreaming.

The thing is though, during the false awakening I was tired! And after I feel asleep I had another false awakening and my notebook was still on my bed!

if you make reality checking a habit it wont be a problem.. youll get lucid everytime you have a false awakening... id love to have several of them at night... sometimes i get up to piss and just do a nose pincher, i hope ill go to the toilet in a dream someday in a false awakening^^well hasnt worked yet since i dont have false awakenings so often, or dont realise it...^^
