Dreams featuring ex's

Hi all First time poster..have lurked for a day or two - Hope this is the right forum, and apologies for possibly the zillionth thread regarding dreams featuring an ex.. Its at this point I realise I should have made notes relating to my dreams, when I had them - Hence why theres not going to be a great deal of info..so I'll apologise in advance.. I split from my now-ex about 13 months ago - Since then I have had a few dreams featuring her (they weren't NSFW dreams, don't panic) - but in the two that i can remember, we were either in her house, or my mums house..We were talking, and behaving like there was no animosity between us, but we were both aware that we had been apart. I vividly remember saying to her "your family are going to be upset if they know I'm here" (they all live within minutes of her) she looked at me and said "let them" - which is odd, as we didnt exactly end things on a good note.. We hugged, and I remember it felt good..and thats when I woke up..:-/...But in both dreams, we were comfortable with each other. Now the bit that may make me sound odd...lol I dreamt about her, while I was with my previous g/f (we split about a year previous to me meeting the most recent ex) - So whilst i'm not saying that the dreams suggest reconciliation - I'm wondering if my conscience is giving me some kind of closure on the whole matter? Promise that if I have any other dreams I'll take notes! Ta

I have dreams featuring my ex quite often. I know how I still feel about her but the way I feel about her in my dreams sometimes changes. In some dreams I hate her in others it is like nothing ever happened and in some dreams I feel the same about her as I really do and in others I feel how I think I should feel. I think dreaming of exes is pretty common and it seems to me anyway that it allows you to live out scenarios that you cant in real life. most of the dreams with my ex I wish were real maybe some of the ones set in the future may happen one day but not likely at all. Speaking of time setting my feelings for her change based on the time that it is in my dream. (time as in year and month not as in time of day)
