It's completely normal. It's all a part of being conscious during the stages of sleep paralysis. Your body does this everytime you sleep, so no it won't damage your hearing. |

This is probably among the more stupid questions around, but during WILD and WILD paralysis, I hear the common noises extremely loud. It sometomes feels like my ears will come off. I know that the sound is being produced by signals in the brain, but can it in any way mess up your hearing? |
