I told two of my friends about it. I told them it's basically a dream where you become aware and can do anything. Literally anything. They seemed fairly interested when I spoke to them about it, but other than that, it's been completely forgotten, as far as I know.

It's like most people have a mental block like they were not supposed to be interested in this.

Surely if someone offered you a free world full of possibilities, that you could visit every night and still wake up fresh, and all it takes is a few months of even less of practice, wouldn't you listen?

I wonder why so many people don't...

I hear ya. It seems like our society doesn't value dreams much. Laberge stated this in an interview. He said that society treats dreams as trivial events to be forgotten. I was explaining to my sister, at a sushi bar, my first lucid dream where I attempted to fly. All of a sudden a couple across the bar started laughing at me. I suppose they thought I had either too big an imagination or was acting childish and should be embarrassed. I get the feeling after talking to other people that they think the same thing--that it's a waste of time. To each his own, I guess. Their loss.

This is appropriate because it was just a few days ago that I realised that there is no reason to be jealous of people that can do something better than you, even if it's almost without effort.

Instead of getting jealous, I have realised that it is much better to use these people as inspiration. And also competition or challenges.

If someone LD's every night, use that as inspiration and work towards also getting LD's every night.

If someone is amazing at maths and you are jealous, turn that in to inspiration, ask them for advice and figure out how they do it. Practice at it and become as good as them.

      With anything, this works.

After you have gotten as good as that person at whatever it is, you will inevitably find someone else who is even better. Get inspired and get even better yourself.

      Jealousy is defeat.
