I was wondering if anybody times their sleep cycle for better dream recall and to induce LD. For example: waking up every 90 minutes to recall dreams or playing binaural beats 20 mins into sleep to induce LD. |

I don't do this personally, at least not yet, but I know that some people wake themselves up at the end of each REM period so they can journal all their dreams and not forget them. Also, in the WBTB technique (Wake-Back-To-Bed), people wake up in the middle of a REM period, stay awake for around 10-30 minutes and think about lucid dreaming, then try for either a DILD or a WILD. |

I have been practicing WBTB and I use the binaural beats as well. Both have been great for my recall. The first week or so I had to use an alarm but after that I began to wake up naturally after every dream cycle so it's extremely helpful and I definitely recommend it if your sleep schedule allows |
