First time attempting to LD in many months...

So I originally got into lucid dreaming back in 2008 when I saw a TV show on it. Worked on it for about 3 months and was able to attain 1 DILD and 1 WILD. Life took over and I hadn't really tried it since, save for a couple months about 1 year ago.

Last night, I was reminded of the topic by a friend and decided I would attempt a WBTB/WILD, whichever decided to come. Woke up at 2:15 and stayed up for half an hour reading a LDing tutorial. Went back to bed meditating with the mantra: "When I begin to dream, I will realize I'm dreaming." -- a MILD technique. I was quite surprised to find the WILD came quite easily. I had a little fun flying around (has never been difficult for me, although I cannot seem to control many other aspects yet) and came out of the dream, pretty excited.

Then came the big surprise -- ANOTHER LD; initiated again by the same MILD method. As my dream recall is a little weak, this may have been a DILD where I became lucid very quickly; or it may have a been another WILD. The dream is a little fuzzy but very similar to the previous one (this was my intention).

And then... ANOTHER ONE! This time, quite vivid, though strangely similar to the others (I just decided instead of flying out my window, I would fly around the house haha).

My question is this -- How is it possible I had 3 LDs last night after many many months of ZERO practice to speak of?

      Possible things to factor in:
I have been meditating quite fervently everyday for about a month, although I had many months of practice around this time last years
I had three beers between 6p and bedtime - 9p
My MILD technique was quite focused
      I have LD'd before

Has anybody else has success like this without (what I think would take) years of training? I think I either got plain lucky, or I was dreaming that I was lucid dreaming...

      Any thoughts?
      Goals:
Change scenery at will ( )
Play at least a few levels of Deus Ex ( )
And of course... LD AT WILL!!!

May the spirit of the god-head shine through me always

Im not sure why you had three but since you have been meditating, you have been increasing your awareness and that is directly linked to your dream awareness. I believe this is why you had 3 lucid dreams, that and your will to have them.
