true lucid dreaming, or just a dream about it?

So I just had my second recent lucid dream. My first success was using Yoshi's WILD technique which worked brilliantly the first night I tried it, at least into SP and slightly lucid. The other night I had another lucid dream (I think), but this was dream-induced (DILD). Basically I realized I was dreaming because crazy stuff was happening. I was like "holy sh** I'm dreaming!" I remember consciously deciding things, like seeing someone I know and trying to get closer to them to have a conversation. However it seemed like my control was limited because I was unable to reach the person. Also, I went outside, looked at the sky, and jumped in an attempt to fly, but was unable to jump hardly at all, much less fly. The lack of total control left me wondering -- did I really have a lucid dream? Or did I have a dream about having a lucid dream? And I'm sorry for the concluding question if it causes you any self-doubt: How do we ever know that we've truly had a lucid dream, when in fact we could only be dreaming about being in a lucid dream? A quick side question: When I got too excited in the lucid dream about being lucid, I remembered to rub my hands together. My whole body (in the dream) tingled, a feeling similar to how I felt during SP. Does this happen to anyone else?
