Hey guys, Ive been trying to lucid dream for nearly a month now. I have had success to an extent, however i am not sure what methods i used and so when i want to lucid dream, i do not know how to go about doing so.

I have had 3 lucid dreams, 3 nights in a row. The first one was AMAZING! I couldn't believe how real everything was. It was EXACTLY like everything was happening for real, yet i was 100% aware it was a dream. I even shouted, whilst lucid, that im dreaming and my body is sleeping somewhere out there. I became lucid and i dont know what method it was. It all started when i was having a non-lucid dream. I didnt like what was happening in the dream, so i forced myself to wake up somehow. When i woke up, i didnt even plan to be lucid and i just closed my eyes again. Within seconds i realised i was in the dream and bang! i was lucid and 100% aware.

I then decided to walk around in the dream, and tried to make things appear. they appeared as i expected them too. I then tried to experiment by trying to change the location. I visualized a location and rubbed my hands. The dream started fading for some reason, then i tried to spin but woke up unfortunately. That was the first time i had ever experienced such a REAL lucid dream. It was unbelievable. The next night, i woke up at around 12:00pm and decided to fall back to sleep. I suddenly saw a bright light and entered into another VIVID lucid dream. However i unfortunately woke up within a minute of entering. The third night, I done a similar thing. when i woke up, i decide to just go to sleep again and found my self in a dream (not lucid) i suddenly started to talk to someone in my dream about lucid dreaming and then i realized i was dreaming and became lucid. I then ran whilst lucid but woke up

Now my problem is that i dont know what method made me lucid. I dont really use methods but would like to use a tried and tested method so that i can be consistent with lucid dreaming. I have a problem with going to sleep (it takes me hours to fall asleep) so things like WBTB is difficult for me as once i wake up, i cant fall back to sleep.

I am able to remember 4-6 dreams every night, and nearly all of the dreams i remember are very vivid.

I would like to be more consistent with lucid dreaming and would like to use a method which could help me become lucid so any input will be very much appreciated.
