mostest smartest and inteligintist persun n teh forumz
@IAm, hm, no, that isn't the one, but thanks. It was basically some person's explanation on how to dream, and that is it that i can recall. Simple layout, nothing flashy. Taught DILD and a little bit of WILD, and the guy wanted to experiment with shared dreaming. Long time ago, that is all I recall. |

I never heard of lucid dreaming when i was little, but I still did have them from time to time. Why is it when I always lucid dream the characters stare at me speechless? but I don't remember how I found this site though. I haven't had a lucid dream in a while though, lucid dreams seem to be once in a blue moon for me. |

Accidental sleep paralysis and lucid dreams as a kid. |
|
I found it twice. About two years ago I started after finding it on google I think. I had a lucid dream, but then got busy. About a year later, inception came out, and it reminded me of lucid dreaming again. At least this time around if stuck to it longer and have had more lucids. Although, I don't tend to practice it everyday or even every week. But I still go on dreamviews almost everyday. |

Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

There was this crazy woman on TV who claimed to be able to go out of her body and fly around the world, and the american government was interested about it. I think it´s posted on youtube, but I don´t even remember the womans name so I doubt I´ll find it. Anyways, I googled something related to out of body experiences, to find out what the woman was talking about, and I found out that it´s possible to have oobe-like experiences, but just in your dreams. So I googled lucid dreaming and found a lot of small finnish and english sites about it. I was so exited, but also sad because I though you could only get like one in a month. I searched more and found the finnish LD site Hoyhensaaret.info . After that I think I googled more in english and found some DV threads. But only after some time I started to actually read the whole forum insted of random google results. I was more into LD4all site back then, but I just somehow shifted to this site and nowdays I don´t post to LD4all at all. |

I was reading about dreams and sleep on Wikipedia. I noticed, on the references, a link to lucid dreaming and read it and was instantly hooked, haven't looked back since :-) |

I wanted to learn more about dreams, so I googled a bit. On Wikipedia I found the term Lucid Dream and from there starts my adventure... |

You don't want to know O_o .... |

It was last summer and I suddenly remembered some lucid dreams I had when I was a kid. I didnt ofcourse know the term 'lucid dreams', so I was googling something like "How to become aware that you are dreaming while in a dream" or so. |
|
I learned it out of "self defense" when I was a kid (four or five) and had recurring night mares almost every night. At some point, I started to recognize them and learned to wake myself up. I've been lucid in just about every dream I can remember ever since (between two and five a week, though there are "dry spells" where I don't remember any dreams at all for a couple months) but I tend to automatically wake up as soon as I become lucid. I learned about dream control from a kid's show, of all places (Blues Clues) when I was maybe ten-ish, but wasn't able to exert any control over my dreams at all until I was in high school. Dream control is still a bit of a crap-shoot for me, so I looked it up to see if I could find any tips, and here I am! |
|
Think i was looking up "vivid dreams" or something like that, my sister and parents talk about how there dreams are like, as vivid as real life.. I'm stuck over here with some reallly blurry dreams, somehow I got here haha, though im still trying to fix my- blurry dreams |

In 1986 I chanced upon a used book for $1 call "Creative Dreaming" by Patricia Garfield Ph.D. The name doesn't imply it, but the book is primarily about lucid dreaming. Best $1 I've ever spent! |

I read the book "Dream Walker", which was about a kid who could change the real world through lucid dreams, and in the back of the book it said that lucid dreaming was real, so I googled it and found this site |

College Physchology class, was fun |

About three or four years ago, in the summer, I decided to search how to have a certain dream on yahoo answers. I didn't find many useful answers until someone mentioned lucid dreaming. Of course I was incredibly interested. I searched it like mad, eventually finding this site and reading Dr. LaBerge's book. It was only this summer though, that I made an attempt to learn and practice lucid dreaming. I had success with my first ever lucid on a plane and the rest is as they say, history. |
