Two LD Killers
Lately I've been thinking about what makes dreams fade, and what makes them last. I've found that the most common symptoms of right before a false or real awakening are 2 things:
Stillness and Darkness.
Avoiding these two things can help attain longer lucid dreams. Use vocal commands to make the dream brighter (u can just yell BRIGHTER) or something like that. And always move, at least a little.

What exactly do you mean by stillness?
-
Standing or laying still, not turning your head or making any movements I'd guess.
-
I completely agree on the darkness part but I don't really think being still will end your dream. Thats never happened to me. My dreams mostly end when its really dark ( i have alot of dark dreams :( ) when I am unable to see anything and when I get really exited.

Yeah SaucyHitman. Just a lack of movement. Especially if you're sitting or lying down. Bad idea in my eyes. Again a lot of dream control is subjective so I'm just saying what happens to me, and making suggestions based on that.
