      An interesting thought about DILD

      sorry i wrote so much...

Ive recently been thinking about my DILD's and have noticed something about them. I have had DILDs in 3 different ways, with 2 ways that occur often, and the 3rd happened only once.
      1. the most common is when i realize something is wrong. what i didnt expect is that the 1st thing i think of is im dreaming. if my docile cat bites me, i dont think hes sick, hes scared, or its a similar looking cat, i know its a dream. and if the thing that triggers lucidity is pain or fear, i dont think,"i never get stabbed in real life, this is a dream", i think "i dont like this anymore, i dont have to deal with this its a dream."
      2. the second most common is when things will be completely normal and the idea that im dreaming just pops up. usually im busy with the dream and brush it off, but lately ive been looking at the thought and becoming lucid. its hard to explain but its like if your watching a movie and someone asks you something, and you dont hear at first but then you realize what you just heard.
      3. this happened once. i shouted "enhanced dreaming now" and punched the ground as if activating a super power and became lucid. this was really strange because i had no idea i was dreaming and my non-lucid self did this out of the blue.

this made me think that we might always know we're dreaming on some level but never pay attention to that since we are so involved and interested in the dream. its like in a good movie or book you know its not acctually happening but the last thing on your mind is that its words on paper or just actors.

this also makes sense to me in reverse, when i lose lucidity. it always happens when i get mugged, or my grandma yells at me, or something when i just think "ill take care of this fast then get back to my dream." as soon as im involved in the dream i just brush of the knowlege and never think back.

anyone have any thoughts on all this?

Lucid means aware. That being said if your aware you won't believe your dreaming. If you are aware on ome degree that would mean all of our dreams are lucid.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

But if we weren't a little bit aware at all times we would never be able to have lucid dreams.

      So maybe your onto something.

well i also said on some level, when lucid you are consciously aware, but you may be sub-consciously aware when not. like people who have a dream guide or character tell them they are dreaming, they are not consciously aware they are dreaming themselves but their subconscious is.
