How do you know it was a shared dream? |
Hey, I had a shared dream last night (my second one ever, the last one was a few years ago) and I was just wondering if anybody here had a similar dream... I can't remember much of it but there was something about 3 books, a tree (think oak) and there were 3 of us. 1 woman, me (teenager) and 1 other guy, in their late teens/early 20's. I know this is vague but if by some really obscure chance you had a similar dream to this then please post here. |

I don't really know how to explain it, there is just a feeling that the people there are something more than just dream characters, it might not be a shared dream but the only other time that this happened it did turn out out that my girlfriend (now ex) had the exact same dream as me. |

what else happened! |
I can't really remember to be honest, that's part of the reason I want to find the other people (person?) I shared the dream with. I'm pretty sure the woman was an actual person but the guy didn't have that feeling... |

If you can't remember the dream then you can't make any comparison between your dream and the dream of someone else. If you remember only one aspect of it then confirmation bias will most likely kick in when or if a person claims to have had a dream about the one aspect of the dream you remember, no matter how obscure it might be. |
The thing with dreams is that you forget them easily but if somebody were to bring up some kind of key element I would be able to remember the rest of the dream better. |
And there would be your confirmation bias. |
I know what happened just not in enough detail to write about it |
That's cool that you had a confirmed shared dream! The best thing for yo to do is write in your DJ every day in as much detail as possible. |
