      False Lucids??! :(

I've had like 3 of these False LDs or I don't know what they are...

      1. The most recent I had and the most surprising of them: "I supposedly know that I'm dreaming, I even mention the words Lucid Dreaming and I am dreaming in the dream, I use The Force like in Star Wars to lift books, then I fly/levitate in my house and go to the third floor like that, and do random things in the dream, and even say [I am so happy that I will tell everyone about this lucid dream when I wake up]"
When I woke up I remembered the dream but I didn't have consciousness in the dream, it was just like a normal dream.

        ---------------
      2. Another one I was in my bathroom and said "I am dreaming" and I did reality checks and everything, it was blurry and I rubbed my hands and said "What should I do now that I know that I'm dreaming" and tried flying, then the dream skipped to what seemed to be another dream.

        ---------------
      3. And, another one I was in a shopping mall and read a poster and again supposedly i notice that I'm dreaming and it's blurry, I rub my hands and say "Wow, this looks like real life only that it's kind of blurry."

In none of those I remember being conscious, I only remember them as normal dreams.

I don't know what's happening, or what am I doing wrong...

This happens to me too sometimes. I act like I'm lucid, perform good dream control, and sometimes even talk to DCs like I know that I'm dreaming... All without actually being conscious.

99% of the time when people become lucid, they suddenly become "aware" within the dream and can feel themselves become conscious. If that didn't happen, even on a minor level, you weren't lucid.

You may be doing so much lucid dream-related things during the day, it just makes its way into your dreams, the same way that if you watch a scary movie, you might have a nightmare.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Note: I haven't had a Lucid Dream / Conscious Dream (in my case) yet

I know that I wasn't lucid, or atleast I wasn't conscious. What I want to know is why is this happening, what am I doing wrong that I don't completely convince myself that I'm dreaming? Should I still do what I'm doing or change technique or what?

You just haven't had a lucid dream yet, which is quite normal! The techniques you're doing in waking life are just making their way into your dreams. Try working on a higher level of awareness by really trying to be skeptical about whether or not you could be dreaming. After all, you don't question if you're dreaming while you're in the dream itself. Even if you're sure you're awake, be skeptical. You might just be dreaming.

      One more thing:

When I do random reality checks and question my reality during waking life, once I'm finished, should I answer myself with a "So, I'm not dreaming" or even though I am not, should I answer with a "I am dreaming" ??

Dreaming that you were lucid without actually being lucid is a regular, non-lucid dream. Nothing more, nothing less.

I direct you to this wonderful sticky that properly helps you with your problem.

      @Snowy Egypt
That sticky says that if you do a reality check and say that you are dreaming, then it's a lucid. If you read my first post, it says I did a nose-plug reality check and I could breathe through my nose, and I concluded I was dreaming, though I wasn't conscious. (EDIT : I didn't specify that but I said I did reality checks )

If I trust what the sticky says, then you would say all my "False" lucid dreams would be real LDs, therefore you are contradicting yourself.

Now, let's say I trust the sticky, and say all those dreams were lucid. After that, let's go to the main point of this thread. If those were lucid dreams, why I wasn't conscious, and what should I do to get conscious.

      Hmm...oookaaay... O_o

Well, even though I linked it just for the "False" LD section, let's throw out the sticky out of the equation for a minute. You said that even though you RCed and said you were dreaming, you weren't aware. That is a normal dream. Nothing "Falsely lucid" about it. To be honest I don't know where you got the idea that the sticky's info classifies your dreams about lucidity as actual lucids, and I'm sorry if it confused you. But yeah, in short, they were normal dreams, and not "False" LDs because there's no such thing. It's a ridiculous made up term that floats around here from time to time.

(And dang, just saw Puffin's 2nd post. Much better advice.)
