Is It a Lucid Dream or Just a Weird Dream ?

So, this is my dream last night:

I was standing on a dark room, suddenly I just do a reality check.
I count my fingers, there are six of it, and then I realize that I'm dreaming.
Then I felt a strange feeling, I walk out of the room, but then I felt really sleepy and my head is so heavy.
I tried to spin to make the dream clearer, but then I thought something like "I'm too sleepy, I need to sleep now" and then the dream fades away.
After that, I have a sleep paralysis and fell asleep again.

So my question is, is that a lucid dream ?
If so, why I didn't have enough control to the dream ?

Thanks for reading my post and answering my question

You were lucid and then you lost it. Sometimes you don't have any control.

I guess I should start reading dream control tutorials from now.
And one more question, why I felt really sleepy and a heavy head ?

i'm by no means an expert, but my guess is that while dreaming, you half woke up and became aware of your conscious self, and your conscious self was telling you it was tired and needed more sleep, but since you were only half-awake you were hovering between the real and dream worlds and your sense of tiredness spilled into the dream. Just a theory.

      Umm... maybe true.
And that's why I had a sleep paralysis when the dream ends.

I would tend to agree with jimmy. I even find that when I remember dreams from a particularly deep night's sleep, I am rather tired and agitated in those dreams. I always figured it was because by becoming aware enough to remember those dreams, I'm simply coming out of a deeper sleep into a lighter sleep.

It sounds like you had a low level of lucidity, I usually do a nose block, then check my hand then do another nose RC and since I'm new I just keep doing RC's every minute or so.
