I have started the process of lucid dreaming. While I have not attained control or lucidity just yet I am taking the beginning steps. I have started a dream journal. I am very good writer as all of my grades in English have told me, however I have always had a huge flaw that has held me back as a writer. Informative writing is a huge challenge, I have been able to keep journals in the past, but when I tried to write a dream journal I froze up and just couldn't. I had the idea to create an audio log on my computer using the program audacity. I can get the dream out while recording all information. I can even ramble on and get pieces of the dream that would not have been included in writing. My initial plan was to put these ramblings into cohesive writing later in the day allowing me to have the fresh memories of my dream already down. While the audio log seems to doing quite well, and I am remembering more dreams and, get more out of them, (I almost achieved, if not control lucidity for a brief period, I have been told that even keeping a typed log rather then a pen and paper one is not as good. Am I doing more harm then good by only recording the dreams? Should I switch to pen and paper, or at least typing? And has anyone had any audio log experience? |
