Haven't even kept a log in years and trying to get back into practice. I've been listening to a lot of brainwave cds (Brain Sync's stock in particular); the kind that plays alpha, theta, etc, both guided and subliminal; usually as I prepare for sleep. Is it a bad idea to do this? I listen to tracks usually layered with theta and alpha waves and either sleep long and deep of awaken every few hours (i.e. timed alarm for sleep cycles). I've found that I honestly can't recall any details of the dreams I wake myself from during the night and only really have luck retaining the one I have before waking in the morning. I suppose my main question is, would anyone recommend the combination of brainwave therapy and dreaming, respectively. Would anyone recommend their separation ? Opinions, please!
