Thread: Comfortable ear plugs.

I have been trying to WILD recently, but my house is just too loud. What do you guys think the most comfortable ear plugs are? (hopefully for a good price)

Just an idea... instead of using earplugs, couldn't you listen to some Binaural Beats which would both drown the noise pollution out as well as help you with your attainability of lucidity? :-)

Yeah I have tried Binaural Beats before and they are nice but because of the uncomfortableness of the headphones/buds that I have it makes it hard for me to fall asleep because I tend to roll over onto my side and they press into my ear. I do really like listening to them though.

Yeah I have the same problem. I really wish I could listen to bineural beats but the headphones are just too damn irritating. Mabye you could try teaching yourself to sleep on your back?

Have you checked for earplugs at your local pharmacy. They should have earplugs that are made specifically for sleeping. I got some and they are very comfortable. They are made of some kind of foam that you mash, stick in your ear, and then they expand to fit the inside of your ear. They work really well for me. Another important thing is that they are not connected buy a string like most other earplugs. I was using the kind with the string before, and i would keep yanking them out by mistake when i would roll over. Anyway, you should check the pharmacy to see if they have any sleeping earplugs. Trust me, if you can find some earplugs that work for you, you won't regret it. I've gained many hours of sleep that i wouldn't have had without earplugs. I've also had a few ld's that i wouldn't have had without them too.
