Help me understanding which way I'm becoming lucid

Well, I'm really confused about how I'm inducing my own LDs.
Recently I've been becoming lucid almost every day, but I can't understand if I'm having WILDs or just DILDs.
Basically, I get lucid after I wake up in the middle of the night because I'm having a small cold and my nose gets really blocked in the middle of the night and I can't breathe. When I wake up, I remember about trying to get lucid. And almost every day I do realise that I'm getting lucid. Now help me understanding if those are WILDs or not.
Basically what I feel is that I realise that the dream is forming, and when I realise it I wait for the dream to be completely formed, because if I try to move too soon I end up moving in my bed. But what I can't realise is if I was already asleep when the dream was forming or I was awake when it started happening. I mean, I do realise that the HI is building up my dream scene, but I don't know if it starts after I already fell asleep some time before, or if it starts after I go back to bed, close my eyes and lie still for some time, before falling asleep.
When this is happening I entirely lose my notions of time.

So what is really happening?

DILD stand for Dream Induced Lucid Dream
WILD stand for Wake Initiated Lucid Dream
So it depends if you realise only in your dream that you are dreaming or if you are aware during the whole process you are falling asleep.

I know, but I can't figure out which on I'm having, because I realise that I'm starting to dream when the dream scene is still forming. I want to know if that's still a DILD, since I get lucid before the dream is completely built.

Well if you do realise you are dreaming before being in the dream...It is a WILD(if you can get into your dream...)
