Thread: How many dreams do you remember per night?

I'm clocking in at about four a night. Before it was basically zero but after I started trying it's been about four a night (sometimes more). I think it's my memory. I can basically say, "Wake up at 5 am" once and I'll do it (within 20 minutes either way). So I just say "Remember your damn dreams" (yes, I talk crap to myself) and it happens. Except lucidity. Haven't had one yet. :-/

I dont separate my dreams unless i actually wake up in between them, i think they are strung together pretty nicely...

But anyways, I remember minimum 1 string of dreams every night.

Sometimes they are lame and not worth writing down in my dream journal (last night i windsurfed without a board for like 5 hours thats all...)

But yeah, lots of dreams remembered every night

I normally remember the last dream I had before I wake up in the morning and snippets of earlier dreams.

4-7 On a weeknight (about 6-8 hours of sleep depending)
But on the weekends when I can sleep in...12 or up but I actually take the time to write those down each time I wake.

You keeping a dream journal? that will help with dream recall....

Yeah, I am. Maybe for three nights now, I believe. I skipped a night because I didn't have it with me, but I'm going steady now.

From my records:

January - average 1.81 per night
February - average 2.14 per night
March - average 2.18 per night

The highest dream recall I had was 8 in january. I did not recall any dreams in 12 nights from January until today.

Around four on school days and about six on weekends. But it really just depends; i haven't figured out what it depends on, but it depends on something.

I remember about 3 or 4 dreams a night. sometimes its hard to tell when one dream ends and a nother starts. My dream are rreally long and it will slowly change...

I used to remember at least 3 vivid dreams a night and for a while it was at around 7.
Now i dont remember them as clearly as i used to and i will remember between zero and 2 fragmented dreams.
If anyone knows how i can help remember please tell me. I already keep a dream journal. I have been having
LDs for about 2 years and my dream recall just recently turned to crap. It really sucks. I used to look forward
to going to bed just so i could dream.

My record is 12 dreams in one night, or 12 seperate events.

I stopped recording them as I was staying at a mate's place for a while, and found that since I stopped it has been very hard to remember them like I used to...

My record was like 3 but I remember 1 dream per night always. To bad I don't LD like that.

I can usually remember at least one or two dreams per night. My record is four, one of them being lucid.

3 is my average. Sometimes more, sometimes less...

Maby we should post how many hours we sleep too, becase about every 90 minutes we enter a REM dream state, and the gte longer and longer as the night goes on. So, if you sleep for 10 houres a night, you will more likley experience more dream than a person who slpeeps 6 hours a night.

I usally have 3 or 4 dreams in a 7 hour sleep night.

I usually think I just remember 1 dream, but when I start recording it I discover that they're actually 2 or 3 seperate events

Same here! But when I kept my DJ I remembered 4 dreams although I woke up after almost every dream.

one. But i know for sure i only have one a night, because it's so freakin long. Lasts the whole night, it does.
