Thread: creative dreams; a question

I want to see if my theory on this is right so give feedback if u can relate to what i'm saying:

I have always been a more creative "dreamer" in a sense during my waking life. I say and do things in ways that I have yet to meet somebody more eccentric than me. I have always really appreciated music, movies and such. Well, my dreams are extremely creative, blending so many different situations that are so different yet seemingly flow perfectly together.

I was wondering how people's personality affects their dreams. Are much more calculating and logical types of people having the crazy dreams, too, or more mundane; like a normal day at work or school.

It depends on the person. But "calculating and logical types" are probably less likely to pay attention to their dreams and improve recall or deliberately induce lucidity.

As for personality, well, loners are probably less likely to have extended interactions with their DCs. Your personality definitely impacts the kind of dreams you have.

Not only your personality, but what you do in waking life too will affect your dreams. I play a lot of video games, some of which are call of duty and Forza motorsport (A racing game) and therefore i have had 2 dreams about Call of Duty and 3 about a Racing game. I also love snowboarding and have had numerous dreams about snowboarding. I help out a lot in my community, and have had dreams that are based around my community. Also, I myself am what Samael says is a "Logical and calculating", yet i am still interested in lucid dreaming.

Yeah i know what you mean. I played a lot of video games a few months ago and had video game dreams. Now I sing a lot and i've been having dreams about being on American Idol and stuff.

Hmm... Well I'm quite a shy person, or at least around most people. The only people that I ever be myself with are my sisters and my close friends. I play quite a few video games too. :3 Also, I read a lot of fantasy, and I like to draw a lot (lots of fantasy), so my dreams are quite strange. I once dreamt that I was running in the woods and a ghost lady ended up leading me and my sisters to the centre of the woods and then tried to kill us, but I shot fire at her and destroyed her, and then the dream totally changed. Me and my sister randomly turned into mario characters and we jumped on giant mushrooms. o_e
