Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

A lucid dream where I found a log and decided to fly on it like a broomstick, went into someone's house (a DC) and when they said "Good afternoon," I corrected them and told them it was actually "Good morning!" .. lucidity slipped away after that.

People after us, I find a hiding spot underneath the sidewalk, but the guys I'm with go over to my garage which is cracked open instead, we dive through the crack into the garage and hide there, liquid metal! seeps into the room, I get on top of the washing machine, suddenly a gang of people enter, a battle?, I'm sitting on the washing machine blowing bubbles the whole time, Neil Gaiman comes in and smiling in front of me, I blow hand-shaped bubbles in his face - he doesn't mind.

I was looking at a fish tank and could hear loud and clear the full sound of waves crashing on a beach.

Finding a bunch of orange beach glass. Saw my deceased uncle.

I heard myself saying I was going to get on a bus? Then the song Magical Mystery Tour plays.

Had a brief lucid dream but it lasted seconds before I awoke.

I just had weird dream. congress has a hering over whether america has had different waifus over the decades.

Had a dream about being on stage.

A dc was wearing a fur coat while sitting in an ice cold bath tub, exploring a room carved out of a gigantic coconut, I was fascinated by this, touching the walls, then the man is upset because his book was missing from its pedestal.

Had a dream about a dream character that reminded me of Dreamcafe11, for some reason, it was very brief though, I think we were at school, and something about going to a tea shop in VT?

Could not get the glass out of the hole Bob had in his head.

I had all of these beautiful glittery fake nails that were supposed to go on my eyelashes - in the end I decided not to wear them, also had a barbie doll earring, gave it to my daughter.

I am sharing a classroom with Mr. Lane (one of my co-teachers), I find all sorts of fruits in his classroom cabinets, including breadfruit, and 2 small onions which I wash, then, laid out on on cushions for me, Dr. K left 4 books as a present because she thought I was doing well this year - 2 on how to teach kids to read (one for boys, one for girls), and a book on how to interpret data/testing scores, etc.

That was a cool dream! I can see how the books are relating to my work life right now, this year I've focused heavily on teaching reading and writing skills for my ese students (integrated through science), because at the end of the day, that's what they need more than learning science. Also, I've learned how to use several different data platforms this year so I can see how that book was in the dream too. It was a proud feeling.

Sometimes my dreams will bring up emotions and topics I do not address or avoid in real life. Last night in a dream I had a heartfelt talk with my wife about how terrible it was to live a life with no passion, no sexy adventures, no making out for the random joy of it and that lead to discussing separation and me getting a girlfriend. That is not something I want IRL but the subject is real. To be clear I am not denied physical interaction with her, but she no longer likes cuddling or any of the way of behaving young people in love would. It is always amazing that my dreams will bring up repressed issues.

1st dream: In the keys, at the beach, I find a large seashell with a hermit, I put him back, then find another even larger shell, it's empty so I keep it, then, I find a surfboard in a gig bag and keep that, too.

2nd dream: Camping in the keys, it's such a beautiful day, but then a tsunami hits, holding my daughter as the humongous waves wash over us, survive it, find my ukulele - it's ok - then I decide not to camp there anymore, and rent a cabin instead.

3rd dream: I run through a beautiful field filled with crystals, and collect some: a huge crystal quartz, and beautiful yellow-brown ocean jasper.

Had a Non-lucid dream that I turned into a blueberry, I looked and smelt like blueberry, and oh, I was the size of the room I was in the dream. Don't laugh.

Todd wanted to borrow $5000- and I told him no, you are a criminal.

I saw God the other day; he was in an empty beige room holding the receiver of a large black wall/pay phone, just listening. He was stocky, balding, of indeterminate race (looked a bit like George Costanza from Seinfeld), and was wearing a large green pullover pattern-knit sweater and jeans. After I said, "Really, George?" I made a few requests and suggestions I've been gathering over the years, just in case it really was God...

[Yes, that was more than one sentence, but hey, I figure a "God" dream merits good grammar.]

Got shot in the ass by Moonagedaydream with a tranquilizer on a mission on Handover Street and some guy sprayed bug Raid at me, the effects were very groovy.

Awww, I was hoping you had a dream about shooting someone in the butt with a blow gun!

I dreamed that the wood floor was swelling and I stomped on it which made all the boards explode up on fountains of spray foam which set at various heights.

Moonagedaydream did help rescue me after the incident. She watched me mumble in bed about someone's birthday and something about being expendable.
