Sure it's normal. Just because some people say it's impossible to read in dreams, that light switches don't work, and that machinery malfunctions...doesn't mean they are correct. My dreams often involve many things that "people say" are not normal in dreams. Meh. Dreams are personal, what is normal for you isn't necessarily normal for someone else. People spend so much time on the computer now a days it would make sense for computers to show up more in dreams, and to be fully operational. Like the Death Star.
Yay, it works in my dreams too! I think that it's because you've become so familiar with the things you do on it (loggin on facebook is something you do automatically or almost without effort) so it also works in your dreams. Much people have dreams about posting on LD, because it's something what they often do.
Exactly haha.
But I've used many electronics in dreams. Just the other night I took out my phone, took a picture of our sun exploding (that's what my dream was about), and then later I took out my phone, and showed some friends. I even remember doing the right steps to get into "My Pictures" on my phone.
I've never really had any problems with light switches or electronics. Not sure what everyone was talking about in other discussions, but oh well :D
Sure its normal. I had similar dreams playing World of Warcraft on a computer and I've had similar ones playing video games while the TV is in a plug hooked to the wall. Sometimes I usually check my facebook in dreams and I even check this site in dreams. Has anyone besides me ever checked Dreamviews.com in their dreams? Or other sites in general? I think its a cool experience.
I've been on DreamViews in non-lucid dreams, yes
Yeah its quite interesting browsing the internet in your dreams. Imagine what you can do with the computer while dreaming. Someone should try going through their monitor and see what happens. I even seen youtube videos in my dreams that don't even exist... Talk about weird.
Its normal. Except computers in my dreams have odd graphics. Also, if I play a game, I get sucked into the screen.
Thats cool. I even play computer games like WoW, World of Warcraft, And I get pulled into the game like I'm the game character my self. Sometimes the monitor in my dreams get blurry and are hard to see. Sometimes I find my self on dreamviews on the forums and its hard to read the text.
I've been on wikipedia and looking up my stuff, they're clear sometimes not but mostly i dont remember them they;re vague
What I read are vague not the actual usage of PC lol
The only reason my dream computer "Barely" works (You can delete the stuff on it by pressing backspace) is because I use it so much xD I bet that if you could program a whole computer by your self, it would work in a dream. But I'm not an expect =3
I can confirm this.
If you kept dreaming of it, it gets better over time. So I wouldn't be surprised if the computer functions normally in a dream. I couldn't remember what I read in my dreams or they were oddly structured but now I managed to recall reading a proper food menu and a few words too. :)
"RISE MY MINION!"
Is the correct way to perform necromancy on a dead thread.
Just for future reference. =)
I did not realise the thread is 2 years old. But the topic is still valid. :cheeky:
I've had a few dreams regarding computers. I used to work all day repairing and testing them, so dreaming about computers and work was a bit of a nightmare to me.
Also one time I remember going on GTA 'Vice City' all evening. When I finally went to bed I could still see the wierd coloured backgrounds, moving through the streets and bright, flickering scenes as if I was still playing it - great!
