Thread: Brain stops.....responding?

This is really weird, during my Dream states, like 4 of them, my head felt like it was suffocating and I couldn't move at all. This happened to me like 4 times each time I kept falling asleep.

Anyone know what this is or had experience stuff like this before? I'm really
freaked out right now, because I thought I never was going to wake up.

If that's truly sleep paralysis, then this one I had, felt like it was trying to kill me.

I almost felt like I couldn't breath at all due to the heaviness of my head.

I've never had SP, but I've heard it can get pretty bad. It depends on the person.

I know that this can be hard to tell, but could you still breathe? Was it all in your head (no pun intended)?

Don't let SP psych you out. Those sensations are just ploys...you would have been perfectly fine if you didn't swallow. The same goes for rolling over, moving, itching, and etc. And if you have trouble breathing, remember the way it "feels" is very misleading...you will be fine no matter how weird or intense the sensations get.

Just collect yourself mentally, relax and remind yourself these sensations are just illusions and allow SP to pass right over you.
