How is it that we can picture something in our head while dreaming when technically we are in our head? |

So you are saying its like having different levels of thinking in dreams? So when I think about what my goals are I think about in a different way compared to when I am trying to spawn a banana or whatever? |

I dont know if this helps, but yesterday morning I had a lucid dream, and realized that I can see no difference between thinking something in my head, or saying something in my dream. I think that when we "think" something in our dreams, we are actually saying it. |

Spoiler for Goals:
I had a dream just this morning were I dreamt I was buying something and i actually thought about who i could get the money from. It's the first time i ever remember actually thinking in a non-lucid dream. Weird how you made this thread today! |

Ever notice in dreams when we do try to create something like a banana that we are very patiently and passively asking for it to appear. We may not know what makes up a banana, how many peels it has, what the shape of the stem will be, what the inside is composed of, how it's skin fades from yellow to a dull green-yellow in some parts, yet when we ask for a banana just by the concept of the word we can make all that information crystallize without prior knowledge. |

I just find it funny that the brain can fill in the gaps for us, quite like you are saying TempletonEsquire. The fact I can walk around wall and find a huge stadium that has just "rendered" in seconds. Weird. |
