lol. yeah, you don't wanna tell somone you care about them in a platonic way when they happen to be operating a TRAIN coming toward you. |

I've had a few dreams where I was in a deep sleep and felt a 'jolt' that woke me up. I think this might have been due to whatever dream I was having, or possibly astral projection. But last night was the first time not only my consciousness felt said jolt, but also my heart. |

It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.

I've had that feeling before. Is it the feeling you get when you get surprised? When someone jumps out and says BOO? Or when someone sneaks up on you and startles you? |

tvs_frank, it kind of felt like a little squeeze; it didn't hurt when it actually happened, but it did a teeny tiny bit afterwards, probably from my heart racing and me freaking out. It doesn't happen often, thankfully, but I've never felt that particular 'squeezed' sensation from a dream waking me up. Hopefully last night was the exception and not the rule. |

That happens to me when i'm either really scared or really surprised,So the dream probably just scared or really surprised you. |

Lucid goals:
Fight a Godzilla like monster
{}Transform
{}Go to a new universe
{}Use unbelievably powerful telekinesis to morph/destroy the world
{}Have a second life that spans four dreams
Watcha think^?
Hi Orphic! Don't worry, I've suffered that "jolt" many times when I 've been slept. It's something normal, when someone or something sharply take you out from a dream. It's a natural reaction of the heart, if something unexpected happened, your heart would react with a electrical discharge to accelerate the heart rate and could thus be prepared for the unexpected. |

Have you ever flown through the abysses of Andromeda and the skies of dwarf planets which orbit around the binary star of Sirrah?
So what kind of life you lead?
Alea iacta est
I think that jolt is caused by our dream body being yanked back into our physical body as we wake up quickly from a dream. |
