sleep paralysis making my head explode

ok about 90% of the time I lay down for a nap, or just try to go to sleep when im not completely exhausted I slowly go into sp, see flashing lights, my head begins to pound and it just feels like its expanding like a balloon or my eyes are wrapping themselves around in their cord things... im completely lucid and aware its happening, so i try to wake up, sometiems I can but usually i just lay there unable to move and whatever and then finally wake up with a headache... or i get passed it and finally go into a some what regular sleep... \ why does this happen... all the time... tell me now

I'm just taking a wild guess, but you may be experiencing this. Does that sound like anything you're talking about?

woa yea pretty much exactly it... exploding head syndrome.. dont like the name but whatevs! i chortled dubiously to myself wheni saw the link... but im pretty sure thats whats happening here...and i did get tubes jammed down my ears when i was a tike... well im glad i dont have a tumor.. knock on wood and ill see a doc and plead stress and sleeplessness cuz of it... maybe il be able to get some benzos or luunesta! .. and then kill myself... jk! lol
