Lightbulb Flying dreams, time and time again

      Hi DV.

Im new to this forum, and just want to know about flying dreams.

I keep dreaming that I am flying in my dreams. Not the same dream but different dreams, and I fly in most of them.

Can you tell me about flying dreams in general and how i can use it.
I have read a tuturial on it in this forum, and I want to know more.

I will give you a detailed example of my dreams later, if you like.

      Thanks, very much.

      The Flying Dreamer.

Are you saying that you constantly have non-lucid dreams about flying? If so, you should use this as a dream sign. That means to RC whenever you think about flying, see any sort of flight, etc. More information is available in the Dream Sign and Reality Check tutorials.

Hmm, I am aware that Im flying in my dreams, and it feels very real. I would even say that I know how it feels to fly, if humans could fly.(Not that i want to try, I know it is a dream.
How do you if you have a lucid dream ??

I have read about Dream Signs, which led me to read the Reality Check part and DILD, and WILD, and the MILD part.

This is very exiting stuff for me and I guess im trying to figure out how to control my dreaming.

Thanks, you have been a great help.

If you want to fly in a lucid dream, it's simple, so long as you are lucid enough and have enough control over the dream. It's a simple matter of believing that you can fly. You can use whichever position you prefer to start. I like to crouch down very low as if I were preparing to make a high jump, and then just spring into the air.

I need to get into the lucid dream state before I can practice flying, and control my dreams.

How do I know when Im dreaming lucid ??

To dream lucidly, is to know that you are dreaming, while in your dream.
That's all. You don't need any level of control to be lucid, all you have to do, is realize that you are in fact asleep and dreaming.

      Ok, thanks.

Is there any way to control what you are dreaming. For example I like to fly in my dreams.

I guess just thinking about it would be a good start, right ??

I use the same technique in both lucid and nonlucid states. I will myself up. In lucid and nonlucid, my brain starts to fill very heavy. And if I quit concentrating on floating I start falling. The harder I concentrate, the faster I go up. In lucidity it's a work in progress. In nonlucid, I think my subconscious got a good hang of it.
Hope I helped out a little bit at least.
      Good luck!

Yes, thanks, thats really good information for me.

Ever since I started reading about dreaming on this forum my dreams have been more controlled than ever before.
For example, now i can walk around in the dreamworld, which is a great improvement for me, because I used to just move from place to place in at split second.
Tonight I will concentrate on flying.
