Thread: dreams like films!

do any of you guys experience dreams like your favorite films.

ie, same characters, same cinematography (camera movement style). but a completely different plot line.

more importantly, its not 1st person.

last night i had a battlestar galactica dream. i wasnt even in it. it had all the main characters, and my head came up with a really uniqe sophistocated plot with a very graphicly impressive battle at the end.

i woke up and was like WOOOOOW. my brain was able to create that.

do any of u guys experience similar things?

I often have 3rd person dreams, and oonce I had a dream where everything was subtitled! I think thats in my DJ now...

It is usually not like a favorite movie of mine, or tv show, but (also in my dj) I had a dream where I was Monk from the his show. Quite odd, but interesting, had the background music and same camera style.

I often have 3rd person dreams. Sometimes they are like Myst games. Sometimes they are like a Startrek show. But most of the time they are of my unique creation.

I probably have 'movie' dreams much more often than the other kind, actually.

Actually, I do tend to have more 'movie-style' dreams than dreams actually reflecting movies that I've seen before.. My recent DJ post describes one such dream with a monologuing mastermind bent on world domination...had that one last night.
