In my experience, I seem to only be able to really remember my dreams when I'm not at home. I don't know why this is, but it really hit me when I went on vacation with my family. |

It is possibly because your new sleeping location is strange, unusual, and to your most basic instincts, scary because you don't usually sleep there. You sleep lighter, unconsciously watching for threats. Lighter sleep like this is better for recall. |

Have you considered setting an alarm for earlier than usual, changing your sleep pattern for a while or even taking up unusual tasks during the day that might change how you're thinking? All those things might help you sleep less soundly. |
