I haven't remembered a dream in a long long time, so my first question is, is the reason because I need to get up and walk over to my alarm clock every morning? Second will my recall improve if I put my alarm clock at arms length? |

Haha, I have the same problem with alarm clocks. When I wake up I'm immediately thinking about turning off the alarm clock instead of my dream, which is time enough for a dream to slip away. I've started to just let my alarm clock go off for a while while I take a few minutes to just lie still and wake up. Alternatively you could train yourself to think about your dreams whenever you hear your alarm. |

I agree. In my life, an alarm clock is 100% necessary. Without one I just sleep for frickin' 10 hours without waking up. The downside of course is that I just don't remember my dreams. In fact it's so bad right now that I don't remember ever having any. I am considering going to bed extra early some nights so I get tons of sleep and might wake up naturally before my alarm. Somehow though, I dont see that happening. |
