The technique with the best success for most people is WBTB. If you are able to you can do that on the weekend if so you don't interrupt your sleep before school.

Nobody can tell you how long it will take for you to DILD because it is different for everyone. I wish there was a way but there isn't. And it's also not possible to know how easy it will be and how many you will have in 3 days. It usually fluctuates for me. Sometimes I have a bunch (like once a week is a bunch for me) sometimes I get a couple every month. Some people get a lot though, its different for everyone.

You haven't been at it for long at all, so don't worry about it. I'd suggest thinking about it during the day, or whatever you normally do, but to not try at night, but if you can do WBTB in the morning.

Not everyone can lucid dream when they try, a bunch of people, including me, have them randomly.
