How do you write in your DJ?

How do you write in your dream journal? Do you write rough notes, well built paragraphs, or a different way? I personally just write down rough notes because I want to get as much details down as possible.

I write down notes in the pad next to my bed and then write in paragraph form in my online journal.

I do the same as ninja. My DJ is also color coated to distinguish between normal and lucid dreams. I also have titles for my dreams. I have a notepad and a pen on my nightstand and a lamp to be able to take notes when I awake from a dream.

The notes start as scribbles usually done in the dark if I woke during the night. Then if I'm lucky I can either recall or work out what they mean in the morning.

Then it goes into the DJ forum.

I have a computer in my room, so I put it straight on to microsoft word after waking up, and later transfer it to my online DJ.
I will try very hard not to say anything stupid. But be warned that this does not always work!

I have a notebook and pen right beside my bed with a lamp. Right when I wake up I go right away to writing. I try not to wait or hit snooze. I write in paragraphs, I write everything as mine are so detailed. Sometimes I will skip around a bit but fill it in a few minutes later. They are organized by dates.
And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.

Exactly like Burned up, I write my dreams down in the dark and then try to figure out what is written and I write in down somewhen during the day in my dream journal, even if writing it on the morning would be a better idea.

A month ago, I wrote down a rather interesting dream in the dark after having woke up at something like 3 am. In the morning, I took my pad and nothing was written.

In the worning, I just dump everything I remember, and it's usually out of order. It serves to trigger my memory and then I just remember my entire dream after reading my entry.
