Well, for the past five days I've had the flu, and every night around 1:00 when REM is about to go into effect, I always wake up and still believe I'm in the dream. It takes me about five minutes to make me realize that I'm in my bed and I have to convince myself that it's not happening. I've thought that two sides of me to battling while the hill I was falling apart like corned beef, and if one side had to sleep to calm down, I had to try twice as hard to get the other side.

It's been happening to five days straight. Is there something that happens when you're sick that makes this happen, or is it just something mental that I just expect to happen now?

Yea sometimes I wake up very confused and think that the dream is real. Once I woke up really sad because this doctor killed this girl I liked in a dream I was really sad...

When you are sick, your mind can act screwy. I know when I get relaly sick i get this relaly strange vivid nightmare/feeling. Once you feel better, im sure these will stop.

Yeah, I can't really explain how or why, but your mind makes some weird dreams that you somehow believe is real, I know that it does tend to happen when you feel like just keeling over and knocking yourself out [or just sleeping if the pain isn't too extreme]

I remember once when I was recovering from a migrane [trust me, those things can be really bad, had to miss a full day of school, everything caused me pain, it was the worst], I dreamt of a guy who murdered all the people I cared about all so that he could ensure that my love was only for him. I woke up crying, truly believing that he summoned a wind spirit and fried them all up in a giant resort swimming pool [that he owned]. It was pretty intense.

That's kind of what's going on, but I don't dream anything before hand. I wake up, and that's when I start getting the weird thoughts...
