Thread: Videogame Dreams

I have had some dreams where I have been in the fps-mode as in fps games, usually from Zombie Panic or Half-Life. For me videogame-style dreams are a horrible waste of time.

I have had many enjoyable nightmares inspired from horror-movies close to bed times, though. I had a very long, scary and exciting zombie dream one or two months ago. It almost made me wish a zombie-outbreak would occur.

I have loads of PC-game dreams. I don't even play that much, but yeah. I had loads of Warcraft 3 dreams (not to be confused with WoW), and a few Guild Wars ones.

I defeated the stopped the alien assault troopers and pig cops from taking over the earth with Duke Nukem as my teammate. It was was awesome! It tooks like 3 dreams to do it too

I once dreamed I had woken up really early, turned on the xbox and started playing Halo 2. I then seemed to switch into the game POV wise. The graphics were great! (lol bump mapping&#33 and i walked around the corner. There was a large bumpy slippery slide kind of structure. I then switched POV again and was at school in the 3rd grade telling an old friend something about pokemon(i think). Then i switched POV again! And I was sitting on the bottom of one of the bumpy slides rolling a marble up and down the slide watching it
roll around in the grooves.

My hubby has Battlefield 2 dreams. He'll talk in his sleep and say something about the "chopper" or "roger that". lol

I get Bf2 dreams also, im on wake island carrier waiting for a heli

Its funny you should mention Video game dreams. I had a dream last night that at some points was like super smash bros. and others Unreal Tournament. My dreams frequently, however, involve me playing a role in World of Warcraft.

I had quite a few dreams where I was a Jedi because I play some Star Wars games, I also was a droid in one of them too. I be in games that were like Mario, I had Pokemon attack me in my dreams too and on one of my dreams I remember it was on pause and I saved the dream before returning to it.

I had a dream I was playing the sims, and my sims somehow spawned into Mary-Kate and Ashley, and I ended up killing them. o.o

I've had everything from Unreal Tournament to Legend of Zelda (the 2-D ones, weirdly). I have video game dreams so often that I'd call it a dream sign... Unfortunately, I play video games so much that doing a reality check every time would be impractical. Also... I don't really have a body to RC with during my video game dreams. Meh.

haha that's great! His favorite map is Wake Island! Maybe he's waiting for the same chopper you are, lol

I'll have video game dreams but usually not the dreams exactly resembling the game, mostly elements from the from games I play. Like I'll be in a dream with Halo weapons, but it won't be halo.

One funny one that I remember vividly was a regular old dream with the "press X to pick up weapon" flashing in the upper corner of my vision. It was slightly amusing.

I've had dreams about conversing with/fighting alongside the main characters of Final Fantasy 6 (formerly known as 3 in the U.S.). Those are really the best, as they're my favorite characters from any Final Fantasy, in my opinion.

And once, a long time ago (when I was in middle school I think), I dreamt I was Lara Croft. These days, being Lara Croft would probably throw me straight into lucidity, now that I've begun to study up on it, but back then I was just like "......WOW."

It's funny to see everyone's thoughts about this post. It's funny how you talk about video games and get like 20 replies. Haha, I've had many dreams with Counter Strike in it. I love them, makes me feel better about being a lil nerd. Haha!

I had dreams where I can switch on map to see where I am (at the time I was playing Hitman Blood Money - I don't use map in the game though).

I've had all kinds of VG dreams. I think my latest was when the huge Thirteenth Colossus from "Shadow of the Colossus" was roaming around my city, burrowing through the streets and flying through air. I ended up on it's back (just like in the game) and was trying to hold on.

Now that's a fun idea. Next Lucid, I'm going to try that one for sure (after I catch a Leprechaun, of course). I think a massive colossus might be a bit difficult to visualize, though... maybe I had better practice on one of the smaller guys.

I had a dream that I was in a computer game and that I could just press the escape key if I'd had enough. Funny, everytime I pressed esc I always woke up.

I had a dream about Starcraft last night. It was sweet I wasn't on a computer I was the computer I could micro everything at once except I still lost lol.

sometimes, when i really really get into a game, like a long time ago, when iwas like 7, i was playing Donkey Kong 64 on N64, i would play forever and when i would go to sleep, all i see in my head,thoughts, or dreams or whatever is that game, it was really bugging me and i couldnt sleep. so i guess that could been my video game kind of dream.

I had a video game a while ago. It was dark all around for miles in all directions, no objects, and it was foggy. I dreamt I was Snake Solid sneaking through the fog and I remember sneaking up behind a masked guy and grabbing him around the next and putting a silenced m9 up to his head. thats all I remember about it.

Resident Evil 2 gave me nightmares for two days. We played in the middle of the night, over at a friends house. Dang, that game freaked me out in my dreams. I have had some good ones though, mostly revolving around Mario games.

Hahaha, a cobra ( lil gun heli). =| gets annoying. BF2 is deff one of my Dreamsigns. But since it was on my list it hasn't apeared. Yes wake's a sweet map =).
