      Last night, I was up late reading PHP tutorials with the intentions of eventually getting into web design (PHP is a programming language for dynamic web pages, for whoever doesn't know).

      The odd thing is, while I slept that night, I dreamt I wrote a few lines of code detailing skin removal from my face from about the area of my cheek bone to my ear. And when I woke up, I found that I had been resting my head directly on my ear, which was hurting pretty badly by now.

      I'm posting because I'm curious to hear other people's stories: What external factors have directly affected your dreams?
      Do a reality check.

      My leg was trapped in between pieces of wood that connected my bed posts... a tiger in a jungle was biting on my leg very realistically (it didn't hurt, it was just firm).

      I've had muscle cramps that have turned into gunshot wounds in my dreams.

      I have rheumatoid arthritis and have constant hip pain. In my dreams I ache sometimes but its part of my everyday so its not so weird i suppose.

      once i was dreaming that someone was about to hit me with a tube wend he hit me i woke up and i had just hit side of the bed i was sleeping on the floor

      When I sleep in a dirty bed I have had dreams about termites. I have had peaceful dreams after accapuncture.
