Thread: Remembering Dreams

<3 this site. Read all the stuff Friday, and for once in a long time (started keeping a journal) i can remember what i dreamt. Saturday i remembered 1 somewhat well, and when i woke up this morning, i remebered three, but tonight only really remember one.


How long do most of you remember your dreams (w/ or w/o recording them)? I still remember some from many years ago.

EDIT: Also, how much does everyone write down for each dream, just key details/plot, or a more detailed plot (more than a few lines)?

Without writing them down, i usually remember my dreams throughout the following day, but the key scenes quicly begin to fade out, and i end up forget the whole thing by the end of the day.

However (and this is when it becomes interesting), i find it amazing when i go through my DJ that i don&#39;t even recognize my own dreams, like those from a month or two. I end up reading stuff like for the first time. Memory really ain&#39;t efficient enough, that&#39;s why a DJ makes all the difference.

I used to always remember my dreams, but then when I decided to keep a DJ I suddenly couldn&#39;t remember any of my dreams anymore, I started having a hard time to remember them... Now I am getting into it again, today I could remember one of my dreams from last night. It&#39;s amazing how I started having a hard time with it just because I wanted to remember them.

I think my DJ will be very useful in the future to identify DS and then look for them whenever I&#39;m dreaming

I experienced the same sensation of reading my dreams for the first time if it&#39;s been a month of two. I&#39;m just like damn I really wish I remembered that.
