Here Is A Weird Intense End Of The World Dream

The thing is, I'm trying mentally to tell myself to get back into LDing but right now I'm just not listening to myself. But I do have good non LDs sometimes and I felt like sharing this one with someone. Since this is a dream board, and as it says in the topic description, I'm not about to start a new DJ on here for just one dream, I figured it would go in the General Dream Discussion board. and Happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it. So anyway, without further ado... For the reason that this site consists of people who are not 18+, I have censored offensive material. The acronyms PSU and USC mean Penn State University (where I go), and University of Southern California respectively. Also, Jesse in the beginning paragraph is my roommate at college. I’m playing pokemon pinball on the original gameboy in my room and having trouble seeing the screen. But then I realize about the brightness knob adjust it as Jesse comes into the room with the Navy outfit I’ve seen on campus a lot. The scene changes to the huge field where band camp was but there are two football teams practicing there (PSU and USC I think). As I watch and talk about how I should join next year (after I see a guy with a last name like Lamatiafatty falls down and get hurt, and yes….he is a fatty). I move down the field to where a priest is because Jesse comes to me with a huge favor. He needs me to get his speech for his wedding stapled and given to the priest for grading. I go over and can’t find his speech so I go searching but just end up back there with a group of people. I finally find it and have to put it in order but I don’t have a stapler so I just give it to the priest for grading. And then all hell breaks loose…… As we give in our stuff to him, we notice the sky begins to darken. Pebble sized hail starts to fall and we realize we’ve got to get back to our dorms which are just across the field. We use layers of paper to cover our heads and start dashing down the stone road. The sky starts to shine with lightning and we duck for cover under the sides of a doghouse. The wind speeds up dramatically in a matter of minutes as we stay ducked on the muddy stone ground. With the lightning very close to our location and occurring frequently, one of the people in our group makes a decision. “**** this. I’m going to stay here any longer. I’m making a run for the dorm. I’m either going to die trying or enjoy some ****** tonight!” We all give a little low laugh like the type that occurs in a situation where you know you might not make it out of your situation alive but yet it is still a funny joke (apparently this guy was known for having sex a lot which is why we laughed I guess). He makes a break for it and he makes it but it still doesn’t give any of us confidence to try what he just did. I see a tent about 6 feet to my left and decide to try and get there because our current location isn’t protecting any of us that much from the persisting hail and lightning. I get there and give a triumphant smile toward the others but one of the cables holding the tent snaps and a tree falls near me and the doghouse. We all dodge it but our situation was about to get even worse than it currently was. I notice the reflection of a reddish ball on the window of the doghouse and turn to see it come right at us and come within inches of hitting us. We all looked at it knowing what it was and looked at each other in horror. We looked toward the sky and tons of meteor pieces were shooting through the sky toward the Earth and landed somewhere close to the northwest of us as we felt the ground shake as they hit the ground. “Holy ****! The Earth is about to end!” “****! ****! ****! Meteors are crashing into the planet!” “****! We’re all going to die.” These were just some of the phrases coming out of the mouths of the people in our group. We all made a run for some shelter even though the hail was getting heavier and the lightning was getting larger. The meteors crashing near us hit the dorms and send us into a panic as we have nowhere to go. They also start to take the form of little children and as they hit the ground, start to walk toward us. It goes into third person with them surrounding me. I fall into a fetal position as they all surround me and the camera zooms out as they get closer to me but then my body fades away until I fully disappear from the scene and then the dream ends.

I just had one of those "end of the world" dreams myself last night My cousin (who was a cop in the dream) was driving me to the park, He told me that even though I had broken the law he wasn't going to send me to jail. once we arived at the park he made me a policeman and told me to obey the law. we then went and talked with one of his policemen friends and he said that the world was going to end today. my cousin and I just laughed at him, but inside I was freaked out. we sat down with my family and a bunch of other people (about a hundred or so) and ate under a a huge roof without walls. a little while later I decided to go out and look at the sun, still not sure why though. I went the far way and saw comets coming out of or from behind the sun. I rushed back to my family and as I got there I yelled "THE SUN IS EXPLODING!!!" My family just looked at me as if I was crazy. about 30 seconds later my view shifted into third person (like a cutscene in a game) to look at this tower about 100 feet from where I was eating that streched into outerspace. it was made of wood and looked like a cell-phone tower. it seemed to explode layer by layer that gave it the affect of dirt billowing down from it. view was now back into first person just as some commets impacted. my family ran one way and me and my cousin the other (I beleive my family went to the car.) After running for about a minnute, randomly looking up to make sure that no commets were about to hit us, we stopped to decide what direction to take. I suggested the bridge while my cousin suggested we run back to the barn-like place where we were eating. just then a commet hit the bridge destroying it so we took his way. when we got near the barn we kept on going to the left side near a fence and some trees the sky turned red and my cousin started to run way faster than me and left me behind. I slowed down knowing that alone I would die anyways. I looked into the sky to see if I was about to be hit and the sky itself started to fade. i looked forward at the ruin in flames and said "I guess I'm waking up now..." (which I supose is the same thing as saying I'm dreaming.) And I woke up. so I supose that may have been a lucid dream
